The Signal
Off-grid hospitality had become a category defined by restraint. Brands competed on calm, on quiet, on carefully curated nothing. HIIDE had a different ambition: not the absence of noise, but the presence of something real. Nobody was building a brand that actually felt like adventure.
The Story
We built the identity around a single idea: Rediscover Your Wanderlust. An upward-pointing logomark rooted the system in direction and optimism. Tactile halftone treatments and editorial-print details gave it texture. Handwritten type paired with monospaced letterforms balanced the nostalgic with the contemporary. Five words held the whole identity together: Playful. Retro. Nostalgic. Bold. Sophisticated.
The System
A brand system that holds up at every scale, from cabin signage to booking page to Instagram grid. The identity has enough range to feel fresh across every touchpoint while always reading as HIIDE. What Andrew launched with is a brand that gives his business a fighting chance to grow into a category leader, not just another place to sleep in the woods.
